This WORKING RADIO is aTwo Tube Set called a RADIOLA RS-TYPE RS

STYLE 358101—SERIAL #136271. It was manufactured by Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co.under Licensing to RCA.

Was introduced in May1923 by Radio Corporation of America (R.C.A.)to replace the 1922 two box setconsisting of Radiola Senior (Detector) and the Radiola AC (Two StageAmplifier).

The Radiola-RS had both the Detector and a one-stage amplifier inone box. It was an attempt to bring the price of the two box set totaling $138.00plus tubes, down to $85.00 plus tubes for

the Radiola-RS Single box set. It wasmarketed for a short time but did not sell well. Their numbers sold were Few (only 4,613 were made) when compared to the numbers of the two box sets.

TheRadiola RS gave up its market to the Newly Designed Radiola lll that had a farbetter marketing success.

Few of these Radiola RSare found today especially in Working Condition and This Cosmetic Condition.Radio is being sold as it was originally sold With Out the WD-ll Tubes it uses.

CONDITION: It isCOMPLETE and has been TESTED and is in ELECTRONICALLY WORKING ORDER.

The FACEPLATE isCOMPLETE with NO CHIPS or CRACKS, ALL KNOBS & POINTERS are CORRECT and theWhite Lettering, Numbers and Scales are untouched.

ALL NICKLED PARTS on deckplate and Mahogany Box are ORIGINAL and Rate a 97+% condition except for thetuning pointer which rates an 80% condition.

The MAHOGANY BOX has NO CRACKS orSEPERATING JOINTS and has the ORIGINAL DEEP MAHOGANY FINISH. The top of the liddoes show micro alligatoring of clear coat

but is hard to pick up in thepictures and appears to be U.V. induced.

Over all, this RARE SETin THIS CONDITION, would make a nice addition to any collection. MEASURES:8 ½”W X 7 ¼” D X 7 ¼” H
