ROCK AROUND THE CLOCKED SOCK!

To the newbie in colonial reenacting, this is a new debut pair of pure cotton cushy soft long stockings known as \"Clocked Stockings\" named after the fancy ingrain embroidery appearing on the sides, to be worn for Upper Class impressions men and women alike of Gentry. This brand new item is finished inLIGHT GOLD on Pine Needle Greenbasepairing so perfectgentle colorationfor Dandies and the most serious colonial best Dresser. Note the crown on top of clocked design!The pattern of floral topiary is underneath the crown appears on both sides of stocking, and ends with a small pinstripe upper legcuff with black inner portion of the weave. Please note the stockings are best described astwo color withreinfored cuff, toe and heel area; and the Clocked Design is rendered in strongshowing on the sides.

The Stockings are fitted with formed heel and toe to prevent bunching and wadding up during walking and dancing as tube socks do uncomfortably once you start to move. Measured from the heel up, these are loooooooong stockings measuring 28\" long! Certianly over the knee, as experienced reenactors know knee socks will not cover the flesh period correct style----you need special foot wear to look proper and save embarrassment. These will do nicely, and are more cushy than our normal line of stockings, if you are already a Lady Ellen\'s customer.
