A Jules Moigniez sandpiper lifting it\'s legs as it stalks around a large clump of foliage in search of a tid bit on the ponds edge. Pictures in Christopher Paynes \"Animals in Bronze\" pg. 99. An early well detailed cast and a very bold attempt at subject movement.

Condition: Very good with ware indicative of age. Tiny hole on left side of base original to casting. Bird NOT tightly attached. Beak slightly bent.
