I am a 40 year+ collector of comics, and I am well versed in the use of the price guide called Overstreet for grading and placing approximate value based on that grade. I will make every attempt to give a fair, conservative grading of each comic -- while listing any potential \"defects\" -- and I will also attempt to keep my asking price for each comic fair given the grade of the comic and the Overstreet 2013 pricing guide specifications. If, after reading my grading and description of each comic you do not feel confident in my assessment and asking price of each comic, PLEASE do not offer to purchase the comic.
These comic booksare tight and flat, and there is no curl at the binding. There is no rust on the staples, and the color is good both inside and out. Thereis light browning on the inside of the front and back covers. On #33 there is a 3/8\" tear on the bottom of the back cover that goes into the last page and there are several scratches on the bottom of the front cover with color loss. On #35 there is slight browning on the bottom of the back cover and there is a light crease on the bottom right hand corner of the cover with minimal color loss. On#89 there is slight wear at the top of the back cover and several places on the front cover on the right hand side and the bottom where there is a crinkle. The oneon the bottom hasslight color loss.There is no foxing, and this comic has had only one owner who placed this comic in plastic and boarded it for decades.
