ROMAN - CELTIC IRON AXE HEAD CARPATHIAN BASIN 200BC-300AD DUG RELIC:
$25.00

Thisis a great old relic from the Hungarian Ukrainian region where the many oldCelt cultures lived over many years and where there were Crossroads of manycultures. It was dug by a local collector of ancient relics in theCarpathian basin and he has even taken some u tube videos of some digging wherehe had found some items including coins etc. This piece is a sizableartifact of a Roman orCelt Axe that has lots of patina and color. It is old andthe moist soil has given it an unique patina. It is one ofseveral I purchased from the region. Nicely shaped and still intact.I have left some information he communicated to me below for interest sakeabout his activity. It dates back to about the early ages of 200BC-300ADAD. Many earlier items have come from this region as it was situated ontrade routes in Eastern Europe even back to when the Romans had a presencethere. I have sold a few and have two others left, one currentlylisted. I do have a small ritual bronze axe which has a tinge of greenfrom age of the patina and breakdown of some of the metal in the wetearth.

I would like to sell it as I have some other items I am looking at. This will be certain to please.

Very interesting item.

Theseller finder states in hunting for these:

We\'rerecording our videos using LG Smartphone, 7 inch. And we\'re recording when weare 100% sure that we are digging something valuable. This is why hands areshaking... worries, gambling feeling, adrenaline rush. We used to record whenthere was a good signal but it was pure garbage at the end. As for halberd: ourlands were crossed by different armies from east to west. because our mountainsare relatively small. Sites are to be found on plains. But we got all privateagricultural fields on plains and we\'re doing our walks in forest areas. Ourforests are public... yet. Celts loved to settle at this kind of places. First, you won\'t get flood on uphill. It was quite \"watery\" here back then.Lots of mountain rivers with fish. Forrest were full of game. Now everything isdry. The main guidelines are, of course, barrows. Barrows are basically CelticBurial sites - small hills, about 2-3 meters high. It would be much better todig those. Barrows contain mainly ritual artifacts and few other things. Weknow about 73 of Celtic barrows. Only druid barrows have some value. Although,we don\'t know which barrows are druid ones. All druids had golden torques. WhenCelts buried deceased they included all his/her belongings together with ashes. Our Celts burned bodies. Torques would be a jackpot. Check the internets.Around all the Europe people dug numbers of barrows and European museumscontain these artifacts which were excavated in barrows only. We have idea howto materialize such finding but as usually everything depends on money. ……rightnow it\'s very difficult, from economical perspective, to live here. Because ofthis treasure hunting became too popular - everyone thinks they\'ll buy detectorand will find stash with golden coins. Feels like history repeats itself insome manner - talking about USA\'s Gold Rush era in Alaska. So, we try to keepthings silent, no advertisement for our findings and videos.
