This Rosenthal porcelain Penguin figurine is Model # 399.
It was designed by Himmelstoss circa 1914 at the Selb Kunstabteilung factory. It measures approximately 3 inches high and has a wing span of approximately 2 3/4 inches.
The base has the green Rosenthal backstamp and is impressed with the number 399.
It is in very good conditon with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
The top of the feet have some white lines on the higher parts, however they are under the glaze which I think is part of the design. Please see photo #10.
