Naturalistic matte colours on this arts and crafts designed piece. This old Roseville art pottery 11 3/4\" Carnelian II Mold #445-12handledvase. The large Carnelian II vase is in wonderful condition with outstanding colours in the decoration and with a high degree of SHARP mold detail on this hard to find piece. The glaze is a mat finish that is typical of this Roseville designed vase made in Zanesville, Ohio back in 1915 andcovered in rose, ochre, and green dripping glazes. The Carnelianfloor vase stands 11 3/4\" tall and 8\" wide at the largest point.The base is marked with the original mold number in orange under the glaze on the base. The mold is shown in Bomm\'s book on Roseville In All Its Splendor on page 85 on the top row second from the far right hand size.The vase has NO hairlines, NO chips, NO cracks, and in wonderful original condition.
