Naturalistic matte colours on this arts and crafts designed piece. This old Roseville art pottery 14\" wideCarnelian II Mold #168handledbowl. The large Carnelian II vase is in wonderful condition with outstanding colours in the decoration and with a high degree of SHARP mold detail on this hard to find piece. The glaze is a mat finish that is typical of this Roseville designed vase made in Zanesville, Ohio back in 1915 andcovered in rose, ochre, and green dripping glazes. The Carnelianvase or bowl stands 14\" wide and 4 3/4\" tall at the largest point.The base is marked with the original mold number in 168 under the glaze on the base. The mold is noted in Bassett\'s book on IntroducingRoseville Pottery on page 63.The vase or bowl has NO hairlines, NO chips, NO cracks, and in wonderful original condition.
