This Roseville Futura "Lotus Ball" vase stands 7.5" high by 7" in diameter. The form is screaming Art Deco with a trapezoidal base balancing a ball form, which is capped off with a narrow opening. There aregeometric triangular shapes licking up the sides of the sphere, a dramatic presentation!The glaze, which has lots of character, flows from a lighter dusty gray blue to a nice deeper slate blue near the base, and aricher blue and green in thetriangle forms, a great glaze combination! This vase is unmarked, but guaranteed to be vintage Roseville Futura from 1928. This ball vase is inmint condition, no apologies. This screaming Art Decobeauty makes a fabulous presentation!
