This is a largepottery ashtray made by Roseville and signed on the bottom - number 598 - 9 inches.It is very heavy - about 2 pounds and is in good condition. It does have 1 very small flake missing on the rim and 2 small flakes on the bottom base. These flaws are felt by the touch, but not noticeable with the eye when the piece is sitting on a table. I call this beautiful Roseville piece an ashtray, but because of it\'s large size, it could be a serving dish.

I have not seen many of these sold on so I consider it a \"hard to find\"item and ready for your table display oryour collection!
