Sale Description:

•This is aAmazingKnud KyhnRoyal Copenhagen#20242 \"Great Cat - Lynx\" Stoneware Figurine in pristine condition.

•With a height of 4 1/2 inches, a width of 3 3/8 inches, a depth of 1 3/4 inches and a weight of 7.75 ounces, this outstanding ceramic creation is a masterpiece of design and unique in both its artistic nature and its distinctiveness of pattern.

•The figurine was designed and decorated using a \'Sung\' style glaze (inspired by Japanese pottery) byKnud Kyhn in September of 1930.

•This particular figurine was a limited production and as such very few remain today, much less in such pristine condition!

•The exterior surface of this delightful piece is a mottled glaze pattern of olive green, brown and beige over a white stoneware clay.

•The underside of the figurine is only glazed within a central inset while the exterior edges of its footing remain unglazed.

•The figurine is in pristine condition without any scratches, chips, cracks, or crazing.

• It\'s underside has the, Royal Copenhagen three wavy lines Pottery Mark and Item Number hand-painted in blue underglaze, as well as the stamped word, \"DENMARK\" in green.

•In addition, the underside is also hand-incised with the product number \"20242\" and the artist\'s initials \"K\" on top of \"K\".

•The item has been carefully displayed, it is inPristine Condition without the Original Box.

•We have carefully inspected this piece and found no damages of any kind.
