Up for sale isthis incredibly rareRoyal Navy bronze signal cannon. It is in incredible serviceable condition. They were used by both British and American navies.The quality and patina are It is a smaller version of a British naval 24 pounder. Larger ships would carry these for signalling and smaller vessels would use them as swivel guns. It is inoriginal condition and comes with a custom made carriage that ishand made out of period oak.It is even dated 1728 or 1798?? Perhaps it was present at the Nile or marked when ships were launched at the new Shipyards in Kingston. It has three cannon balls stacked at either side of the date. I can tell from the touch hole that it has been fired many, many times. I put a little bronzetoy cannon I found beside it in the pictures to give it some scale. Real items like this are incredibly hard to find. 100% guaranteed to be authentic and original.
