Great shape commensurate with its age, not cleaned or polished since acquired. Minor slightly loose rivets on one, still very secure. (Please examine the photos further conditions.) Description Here we have a beautiful antique pair of handmade and hammered solid copper round BOOKENDS with a tooled OWL HEAD on each vertical end (which are triple riveted to the base) - made by ROYCROFT. Each measures approx. 5 1/2\" wide x 4 3/4\" high x 4 1/4\" bottom deep. Both are in very good maintained (used) condition, commensurate with their age, no dings, dents or bends, they have not been cleaned or polished since acquired and are being offered in \"as found\" condition. They both show a deep rich copper patina, handsomely detailed, original aged green felt bottoms, both impressed with the \"R\" and Cross & Orb Trademark. [NOTE: One bookend\'s riveted base connection is slightly loose but still very secure.] Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1910-1915. These bookends weigh approx. 1 1/2 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
