PHOTO: What we have here is a rare antique photograph of Mazuma, Nevada in 1908. The town was founded in 1908 and wiped out in a flash flood in 1912. The photo was posted in Vernon, Nevada. The photograph is of \"The Blue Hen Bar,\" which has a lunch counter There are a bunch of customers (possibly waiters or proprietors) outside, but, most importantly, there are two precious dogs outside. One appears to be a general American mutt and the other, oh man, is a big, fat Saint Bernard or some other kind of sheep dog (whatever he is, he\'s huge and wonderful).Mazuma, Nevada was located in Pershing County, in the Seven Troughs Mining District. You can look all of this up on Wikipedia, but it\'s pretty fascinating. It looks like the photo was sent from a \"Frank\" to one \"Ida M. Todd\" in Kansas. Apparently she is a very distant relative of Mary Todd Lincoln. So that\'s fun, too. Not sure who the Frank is, as her brother Frank died two years before this letter was post marked. The stamp appears to be a 1903 1c (One Cent) \"Blue Green\" Franklin Stamp. Again, I would leave that to the philatelists out there. I\'m just the olde timey photo guy. But, realistically, this stamp isn\'t worth squat. Just putting it out there, though. . .CONDITION: Excellent. See photos for fuller details.SIZE: 5.5 x 3.5. Normal postcard size.SHIPPING: USPS First Class. Insured.ETC: If you\'re into olde timey photos of bars, saloons, the American west, cigar stores, slot machines, or other related items (and their stamps), then please check out my other sales. I have lots of RPPCs like this one up for sale, as well as a bunch of weird junk that\'s just in my closet. Trash or treasure, you be the judge! Thanks for your time and happy offerding!EDIT: Also, I had to pull an old listing of this because I put the wrong state down. It\'s in Nevada, not in Arizona. Like I said earlier: My bad.
