Description

Welcome to this listing. We are pleased to offer this ironstone sauce tureen bowl and ladle in the in blue and white transferware pattern known as Asiatic Pheasants attributed to the English firm of Ralph Hall. Neither the bowl nor the ladle is marked. While several firms made the Asiatic Pheasants pattern, the one associated with the Hall firm is closest to that which appears on the bowl. The bowl is 3 ½” tall and 5 3/8” x 4 3/8” at the lip. The ladle is approximately 6” tall and the bowl is 2 ¾” in diameter.

Both the sauce tureen bowl and the ladle have a gleaming glaze and lovely blue and white transferware pattern. The sauce tureen bowl is free of chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines, discoloration, and restoration. The ladle has been glued back together at the attachment point of the handle to the ladle bowl. Crazing, which is common to ironstone, is present on the sauce tureen bowl.

Terms of Sale

Return Policy:

Buyer must contact seller within three days from receipt date of the item.
Buyer must ship the item back to the seller within fourteen days from receipt date of the item.
Item condition must be identical to the sale description.
Buyer must ship via the same shipper under the same shipping service as received and in the same packaging as received.
Buyer will pay forreturn shipping.
Refund will only be given through PayPal and will only be in the amount of the winning offer plus Michigan sales tax if applicable. Refund will not include shipping initially paid by the buyer.

Damage or Loss of An Insured Item:

In the event an item is damaged or lost during shipping,the buyer must immediately notify the seller. The buyer will retain the damaged item and all packaging.
The seller will refund the buyer the amount paid for the item, including sales tax if applicable,but not the cost of shipping.
The seller will file a claim withUSPS for the amount the buyer paid for the item, not including shipping, and will designate theseller as the payee of the claim.
USPS will review the claim, request the parcel from the buyerif required, and provide a refund to the seller less the shipping.
