Thisis a lot of a special orderexpanded setof eight(8) figures of the 11th Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment(Wallace’s Zouaves), 1861, by Edmund’s Traditional Toy Soldiers (ETTS). The setincludes Colonel Lewis Wallace, special-order Flag-bearer, and one (1)additional figure to create six (6) other ranks. ETTS models are 54mm scalefigures made in the style of hand-painted old toy soldiers with a high gloss finish.ETTS figures represent regiments from the American Revolutionary War, CivilWar, Indian Wars, Wars of Imperialism, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, andVietnam War. The models were created by Edmund Fangonilo, a well-known andrespected military sculptor. The figures were produced in San Francisco,California. In two (2) original blueEdmund’s Traditional Toy Soldiers boxes of issue.

The Regimentwas formed on April 25, 1861 at Indianapolis (IN) with men from the followingcounties: Covington, Fountain, Johnson, Marion, Montgomery, and Vigo; its firstcommander was Colonel Lewis \"Lew\" Wallace (April 10, 1827 - February15, 1905), the author of the novel BenHur. The Regimental Flag is the Stars and Stripes with the inscription 11TH REGT. IND. VOLS. ingold, on a red stripe. The Regiment saw action during the Romney Raid. TheRegiment mustered out at Indianapolis on August 2, 1861.
