For sale is a vase made by KPM around 1820. It is handpainted with two very nice Watteau style scenes surrounded by a fancy gold trim. More gold trim to top and bottom as well as to the goat heads on either side acting as handles. The thing that makes this vase nicer than most of these types is the rare yellow ground. Yellow was the hardest color to fire and the most expensive so it is rarely used. The piece is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark as well as an impressed 18.
