For your consideration is a Rare Antique Chinese Canton Ware offeret and Stand! This beautiful blue and white porcelain liner is in excellent condition and is a traditional double gourd shape. The porcelain liner measures 24\" (61 cm) in length, has a maximum width of 13.75\" (35 cm) and is 5.75\" (14.6 cm) in height. The underside of the liner is unglazed as is typical of these wares. The interior of the liner is beautifully decorated with a traditional Canton scene and the underglaze blue decorations are clean, crisp and vivid. The rim has a nice diaper decoration and the sides of the liner are decorated with a stunning floral design. There is a drain at the lower end of the offeret. The stand fits the offeret perfectly and is just over 17\" (43.2 cm) in height. This offeret would date to very late 18th Century orearly 19th Century.
