This original articlewas published in a 1912 issue of \"The Horseless Age\" magazine.

These two original Articles were published in aregular departmentof the magazine called \"Electric Vehicles\" The first article presents the 1912 Chicago Electric, designed by Frederick J. Newman, \"one of the pioneers of the electric vehicle industry\". It was produced by the Chicago Electric Motor Car Co located on South Morgan St. in Chicago. The company offered two models, one driven from the front seat, and one from the rear. The article names the company\'s officers and gives other details of the car\'s operation, performance, etc.

The second article on the page describes a trip that a Borland Electric made, traveling 104 miles \"over very trying roads\"in going from Chicago to Milwaukee on one charge. It was built by the Borland-Grannis Co. of Chicago.
