Rare 1915 Washington National Suffrage Convention Ribbon With Hanger:
$975.00

This is a rare ribbon, with goldletters on dark yellow, measures approximately 2: x 4 ¾” without the hanger, and was worn by delegates to the 1915 National Convention of the NationalAmerican Woman Suffrage Association. The hanger was used not only to pin the ribbon to clothing but also toprovide a place where a delegate could put her name. The American Woman Suffrage Association merged with theNational Woman Suffrage Association in 1890 to form NAWSA. I have not been able to track downreferences to every single year, but I suspect that NAWSA issued at least oneconvention ribbon for every year thereafter until 1920. This ribbon is one ofthe scarcer known convention ribbons and seldom appears for sale. It is in very good condition with notears or thread pulls. Thelettering is much brighter and sharper than my image of it would suggest. A great addition to anycollection of suffrage, suffragist, suffragette, or votes for women material.
