EXCELLENT All Original condition on this very Rare Circa 1930\'s \"WALTER HAGEN\" Sand Wedge .

An Unusually marked Large & Heavy Head (Only has the Walter Hagen Signature) with significant bounce to the very Wide sole.

Beautiful Original Leather Wrap Grip and Coating is in Excellent shape.

This Rare club has a Static weight in excess of 1 Pound.

Kocsis was the winner of six Michigan Amateurs,[2] three Michigan Opens (1931, 1945, 1946), individual NCAA Champion, member of three U.S. Walker Cup teams,[1] member of two NCAA Championship teams at the University of Michigan, low amateur in two Masters, low amateur in two U.S. Opens, runner-up at the 1956 U.S. Amateur, and runner-up at the 1937 Western Amateur.

Kocsis also found success on the senior level winning several National and International Senior Amateurs. During his time at the University of Michigan, Kocsis became a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.[3]

The Golf Association of Michigan voted Kocsis the Michigan amateur golfer of the century and was a member of the first class elected into the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame.

Warren’s good friend DON SOPER who served as the Michigan Section PGA President from 1961-1963, left much of his collection to Warren and these items will also be offered in upcoming sales.
