All sell !ITEM: You are offerding on a vintage original 1940s rare pin-up print featuring a gorgeous, nude model admiring herself in hand mirror titled, \"Harlem Model\" by Bob Moran. A fine old print we rarely come across that is printed on a textured, heavy paper stock. It\'s unusual to come across a pin up lithograph from the period that does not show a caucasian model, and here the black identity of the nude pin up girl is significant to the piece, with the title reminding the viewer of her showgirl bonafides. The signature on the piece is closely modeled on Earl Moran, and we imagine this to be a pseudonym for an artist who was closely working in the style of the popular pin up artist. We had occasion a couple of years ago to sell a full calendar of this image, and were able to track the piece down to a Chicago based advertising firm active in the 1940s. This was created for a regional market, and clearly created in a very small run.
