Case Condition: The Ornate Engine turned case is in good overall condition. There is the odd mark through normal use, but nothing that would warrant me to highlight in a picture. The hinge is in good order. The lid does not close perfectly first time and there is a slight gap as shown in the pictures (pic 9).

Functionality: I have to admit I don\'t know much about lighters, so please excuse my crude analysis and ignorance of the functionality. When there is no flint, the roller moves freely and with ease. When I insert the flint the roller seems to jam and is difficult to spark, although I have shown it working in one of the pictures. I have just ordered some new Dunhill flints to see if it stops the roller jamming, which I will include in the sale. It may be something simple that is causing this. The flint releases correctly and the spring is strong. Therefore, I can only recommend a Dunhill service as per link above at £135 (which includes any replacement parts) to ensure functionality.
