Up for sale I have what I would consider very rare catalog. I have had lots of Sears Christmas Catalogs, but never have I had one that excludes toys. This is a very odd catalog as it is a total of 319 pages, and the 1962 that I am use to seeing has 470 pages. At first I thought someone removed all the toy section, but upon close examination the binding is tight and the 2nd to last page in catalog flows continuously with the last page. I still could not believe what I was seeing, so I pulled out my 62 Sears Christmas Catalog and compared them. The front cover was the same with the exception of information at bottom of cover, this was different. The back cover was the same, but when I opened the catalog the back cover of mine had slot car tracks in color and this one had Christmas door and outside ornaments in color. My catalog flowed at the end from page 469 to 470 back inside cover page, and this catalog went from 318 to 319 inside back cover page. I also noticed in my catalog the toys first begin on page 320. It is almost like this was a pre early issue catalog. I just cannot explain it, but perhaps one of you collectors can. If you can explain this that would be great, as I have never seen anything like this.
