height=\"28px\" valign=\"middle\" face=\"arial\" style=\"text-decoration:none\" the Very Rare1968 Lakeside Carnival Club .999 Fine Silver Doubloon (First Year of Issue). The doubloon measures 39 mm or1 1/2\" indiameterandis in ExcellentCondition. Payment due within 48 hours of purchase. Note:The obverse features the Beautiful Lakeside Logo. The reverse features the State of Louisiana, Magnolia Blossoms and a Pelicanand reads \"LOUISIANA, OUR STATE...1968.\" This doubloon was designed by Famed New Orleans Artist Blaine Kern and made in West Germany. The Lakeside Carnival Club was a New Orleans Area Carnival Club which rode in one of the Mardi Gras Day Truck Parades. They were a very small Group of a dozen or so people who issued doubloons from 1968 through 1980. This doubloon has \"999\" stamped into its edge at the 6 o\'clock position. These Fine Silver doubloons were made and issued in extremely limited number and are extremely rare and very difficult to find. Great piece of Lakeside Carnival Club, State of Louisiana and Mardi Gras Memorabilia! (Unless specifically described as toning, the gold, green, blue and purple hues seen on any item are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
