Welcome. Up for sale is a Large Rare Antique 19ThC Chinese Cat Figurine Pillow/Headrest signed in script as shown. The cat is painted with blue-green spots overall and a light to dark brown base color. There is some surface crazing of the glaze, a small firing separation glaze fracture, and a couple of small glaze chips. This wonderful and whimsical antique cat figurine measures approx. 14 1/2\" in L. from nose to tail by 7 1/4\" in H. by 5 1/2\" in W. I would appreciate an analysis of the script on the base if anyone can translate. Would make a great addition to any Chinese figurine or cat collection. Any questions please e-mail me.
