This is a beautiful vintage collector\'s doll. She is The Millenium Doll \"Futura\" by Gloria Vanderbilt.The doll is Gloria Vanderbilt\'s Millenium Doll \"Futura\". She is 24 inches high and comes with original box. In the packet containing her limited edition information is a picture of the doll in all her splendor. This is a very unique doll with a lot of sparkle. The description of her is as follows: \"She stands posed expectantly dressed in the beauty of night with jewels floating around her cascading into a galaxy of stars. What will the new century bring? Each jewel is a wish---a hope for the future with lovely things happening and that is why her name is Futura\" Beautiful with a blue sequined dress and hanging jeweled strands, she has curly brown hair and an adorable porcelain face. A matching ornate headdress is on her head.Ms. Vanderbilt introduces \"Futura\" with each jewel symbolizing a wish for the future. She comes in a limited edition, hand humbered on the back of the neck, where Gloria\'s personal signature marks is inscribed in 18K gold. Comes with COA These dolls retailed on the home shopping network for $599 She is in excellent condition. She comes in the original box - excellent like new condition - preserved in original box. The box has shelf wear and stains but the doll is in never used condition.. She has a marking on the back of her neck that says \"John Nissen\" (see photo). The front of the box says \"United Children of our World, Limited Edition, Made in Denmark, by Dan Hill Plast\" and in the corner there is a sticker that says \"Brought to You from Denmark by the Dynasty Dolls Collection\"She stands apx 24\" tall. She comes with original box which measures 27\" x 14\" x 11\". Estate Sale find. This doll would make a great addition to your collection or as a gift.
