This is a rare 9ct solid gold Australian watch fob medallion that would have been given in appreciation of some fine civic achievement on the part of the recipient. The fob medallion features a frame of pierce work emu and kangaroo with a boomerang above and wattle twigs below. The centre is a shield panel with engraved initials “CP” (?). The reverse is blank save for an Australian 9ct gold hallmark comprising Unicorn + 9 + W. The medal is in very good antique condition. Just the expected minor light wear.
