Pattern achieved through the symmetrical placement of light, medium and dark hues.
Some of the silk has perished with age - see photos for details as they form part of the description.

The quilt could either be repaired or appreciated for what it is.
The backing is a later addition and is made up of a Sanderson curtain fabric, circa 1940\'s.
