This scarce novelty silver pin dish or tray measures 80mm (3.25\") x 38mm (1.5\") across the shell x 32mm (1.25\") and weighs 19 grams. It is fully hallmarked for solid English sterling silver Chester 1923 with the makers mark for the well known novelty silversmith Adie & Lovekin and is in the form of a wheel barrow with a mother of pearl body and a rotating front wheel. It is unusually good condition with no chips or cracks to the mother of pearl body and no damage or repairs to the silver and is a fine piece of novelty silver sewing accessory from one of the best makers of the period sold with .
