Rare Antique 1920\'s Gypsy Fortune Doll
This Rare Antique 1920\'s Gypsy Fortune Doll has been in my personal Halloween Collection for over 30 years. It is made by Sybil Fortune Telling Co. This is a very rare, mystical and fun piece that is hard to find and a great collection piece. This is a very interesting display piece has a metal stand that allows the fortune gypsy to stand and the bottom half has 41 pages that are shaped to emulate the gypsy\'s dress so all the fortunes are pages that turn in her skirt. The 41 pages are all divided into astrological fortunes based on color and planetary relevance. See below.

The Gypsy Fortune Telling Doll has no maker mark or manufacturer name even though it is made by Sybil Fortune Telling Co. It is marked Patent Pending in U.S. and Abroad. The top piece is the upper half of Gypsy Fortune Teller and is made of wood with some type of colored art paper over the wood. She can turn to face the back side or turn to face the front side. The metal stand runs from top to bottom and is part of the assembly for the top and bottom that holds the 41 pages. The pages are divided where each half of the Gypsy\'s dress has turning pages.
She stands at 9 1/2 inches tall. This is in remarkably good condition for its age. The back side red page that shows the Cupid Red has a tiny piece of paper missing but all the other 41 pages are in good condition.
