This beautiful rare closed mouth Belton antique doll is just wonderful. She is a Belton with the solid domehead and is very popular among antique doll collectors.She has the especially pretty pouty look to her and I am not sure if she is French or German. She is a nice popular cabinet size of 11 inches tall. Her head is free of any chips, hairlines, cracksor damage. She does have some repair to her shoulder plate as you can see from the photos andit looks like someone added alittlebrown paint, I am not sure why.Also one of her thumbs ischipped.She comes with heroriginalpretty mohair wig and lovely paperweight eyes. She has an extra beautiful face with the early pale bisque. The pale bisque is often found on the oldest of antique dolls. She has a leather kid body in good condition. Her arms are lower bisque. She iswearing heroriginallovely antiqueChristeninggown, under clothes and a pretty bonnet. The dress does have some faintyellowingtocertainareas due to age as you can see from the photos.
