Welcome. For your consideration is a rare original antique circa 1830\'s black ripple picture frame with gold gilt liner. This vintage American rippled picture frame has a gesso covered surface. I am not an expert but I would consider the condition of this rare frame to be in overall good vintage condition. The frame does a few very small areas where the surface of the gesso is chipped (see images) but not to the point where it distracts from its beauty. The very tips of a couple of the corners have some slight chipping. Please keep in mind the images that I provided are extreme close-ups, designed for your close inspection, from a normal viewing distance these minor blemishes are difficult to notice. This frame is being offered in its original untouched condition. These minor blemish\'s can be touched up or enjoyed just the way they are! I will leave that to the winning buyer to decide. The inside gilt liner has a similar ripple effect that is in very good condition with no chipping. The exact inside rabbit or picture frame measurements are 12 7/8\" x 16 3/8\" and the total overall measurements are 16 3/8\" x 19 3/4\". The frame has a depth of 1\". It is being sold in \"as-is\" condition. This is a nice rare ripple frame!
