Rare, Antique 19th C French Bird Floral Cotton Material ~ sweet little tiny print blue birds/roses/flowers.Lovely antique dress fabric dating back to the 1860\'s. Just gorgeous in various blues on a creamy ivory white ground.This wonderful printed cotton depicts little blue birds on beautiful leafy foliage vines abundant with roses.
It\'s a very small scale design perfect for sewing doll dresses and an array of other special sewing projects.
Content: one hundred percent cotton cloth.
Size: 11\" long x 20\"
~ an additional 20\" length of this beauty is available ~ adjust quantity to receive one continuous, uncut long panel measuring 11\" x 40. The length was cut on the bias creating an elongated wide strip of fabric ~ perfect for a small project.
Condition: Blue colors are even throughout with some very light age toning to the ivory ground here and there. There is a fold line near the top edge that\'s lightly soiled along the fold. Still feels plenty strong upon a light pull ~ although it is antique so take care. No other issue noticeable when held to the light for inspection. Overall, very good shape for a textile from this period!All textiles listed here have most likely had a past life of some kind unless it states \'unused\'.
