This clock is an absolutely outstanding french solid bronze and pink sevres hand painted porcelain mantel clock, it has a superb display look to it all in fantastic original condition for age, the case has a stunning original ormolu finish to it. It was retailed by Howell James & Co London & Paris and made by Samuel MartiThe case has superbly hand enamelled pink sevres porcelain panels to the front which have beautiful raised hand enamelled floral decoration and they are all in excellent condition all with all their original enamel balls going around the edgeThere are bronze rams head mounts on either side that are in excellent condition and the quality to all the cast bronze mounts is exceptionalYou do not see antique french clocks of this quality for sale very often.
