Beautiful antique composition & cloth doll, measuring a large 23\", wearing a pretty dress with shoes; she is a rare doll, in that not only are her lashes \"real\", but they are brown in color; she has sleep eyes and molded hair; she is wearing a wig. She has a crier that no longer works.This doll is from the late 1930s/early \'40s-- I could not find any maker\'s marks on herShe is in beautiful shape for an antique doll; the sleep eyes work fine her lips show some paint loss but otherwise her face paint looks good and her lashes are in good shape; the compo shows typical peeling(on head under wig)/crazing on compostion-missing a littlecompositionon right thumb, but none of it is bad for the age---she has a gorgeous face and a very sweet expression and her flaws are relatively minor overallThis lovely doll will be carefully wrapped ; she is a rare find and would add nicely to any collection--even with the flaws, she displays well
