This is an Exquisite and Exceedingly Rare Pair
of Antique Silver Andirons
Probably dating from the 1860’s to 1880’s
This Pair is the Pinnacle of Victorian Elegance
Like something right out of the Newport Rhode Island Mansions
Silverplate on Brass or Bronze
Condition is Excellent
The only issue I see is one of the nibs on the top of
one of the andirons is not quite as pointy as the other.
There is some silver loss
Very little but I want to be clear
Definitely not a deal breaker
The andirons stand an impressive 22 1/2 inches tall
Width of the feet is 11 inches
Depth is 9 inches
Each andiron weighs over 15 pounds
