RARE! Very Large Brass Bowl pictured. High relief Repousse hand chased design. Very early hammered bowl, probably early 19th cent. Multiple motifs,The bowl is brass, and has been tested.
Offered in \'as-found\' condition. Unpolished. There are three of four very small nicks on the lip of the bowl, and two areas that I have found on the highest relief areas where there is some breakthrough. You have to hold the bowl in the light and at the right angle to see these tiny holes. I would say the bowl is in very appealing antique condition, but please review the pictures and discern for yourself.
Width is just over 9\" at the widest place. Height is about 4.50\". The weight is about 495 grams
