A really rare and fabulous games box, in Rosewood and Birds Eye Maple dating to around 1860.The top has a splendid chess board, each square measuring 1\". Beyond this is a decorative Tunbridge Tumbling Block panel containing a pegging out hole for the cribbage street each end (you will require some pegs for the cribbage).The box opens to reveal a real gem, a miniature Bagatelle table with wooden lined cups marked 1 to 9.
