ThomasPlymouth, Conn.,U.S.A.I believe the tablets are Original ~with reverse painting.A square and set compasseswith the letter G in the middle.Below Eagle holding a scroll in beakThe eagle is grasping an olive branch in his right talon and 4 arrows in his left talon( a symbol for the power of peace and war).Above the eagles head are thirteen starswhichform a constellation.In nice vintage condition170 year old Weight Driven ClockThe clock works and stays running, has a key and winds with ease.There are some chips on top front corners of the topper.Both bottom sides have some chips and the left has a couple of facial cracks(see side of clock picture at the bottom of base).The wooden covers for pulleys are not attached (loose).Face of clock looks to be original but missing paint.Interior with fine illustrated printed paper label is poor/fair condition andis missing paper and has some liquid stain on it.Both columns show pitting/ware.Please see photos for they are apart of my description.
