Beautiful antique French Rosewood bedroom dating from the 19th century. The best in quality and proudly signed by the maker. Set consists of 3 pieces, bed, small armoire with mirrored glass and one night stand. Please note the inside bedding measurements. The bed is suitable for US twin but possible conversion to either full size or possibly US Queen. Please call us in the store for further discussion. Great mirrored armoire with plenty of shelves. Measurements: Armoire 96 tall x 20.5 deep x 44.5 wide, Bed 51.5 wide x 81.5 long, headboard 51.5 tall, foot board 36.5 tall, Night stand 16.5 wide x 33 tall x 17 deep, inside bedding size 47.5 wide x 77.5 long. Some History

Émile Léger in partnership with Albert Albrecht was trading in Paris at 3, Boulevard Richard Lenoir as early as 1866 with additional premises at 4 boulevard Beaumarchais and workshops at the famous rue de Charonne. In 1885 Léger took sole control of the company and began a process of expansion, the business moving to the prestigious Place des Vosges in 1893. The company was extremely successful, and exhibiting their own work at many of the important international exhibitions of the period. Emile Léger was awarded a silver medal at the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1878 and again in 1889.
