Stunning Georgian Gold Foiled Scottish Citrine & Pearl Cluster Ring c1800A stunning Georgian Gold Foiled Scottish Citrine & Pearl Cluster Ring, which dates to c1800(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 3.4 grams, has a plain \'D\' shaped shank leading to the beautiful carved shoulders, which are each set with Seed Pearl trefoil decoration. The focal-point is the \'circular\' bezel (approx\' 11.5mm by 12.0mm), which is centrally set with a foil backed Citrine (approx\' 4.5mm by 5.0mm) surrounded by Seed Pearls (all in cut back settings as shown).
Typical of the period, the ring is unmarked but it is guaranteed to be made from solid Gold.Overall the ring is in great condition with only wear commensurate with age; as shown there are a couple of dark areas behind the Citrine.
This superb Georgian Ring is sized as a UK Ring Size \'M 1/2\', which equates to a US Ring Size \'6 1/2\'; as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.eit is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gaugedepending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring whenworn.
