Up for sale is an antique New Haven mantel clock. It measures approximately 12.5 x 8.25 x 4 inches. There is a hand painted Japanese looking design. Inside the clock, the works are marked New Haven. The back of the clock is metal and closes with a little loop over a post. There is some spattered paint on the clock which shows in the photo. I rubbed my fingernail across some of it and the excess paint came off without taking the stain off the clock. The glass door covers the dial. The dial inside is some type of paper and slightly loose. There is a pendulum inside. It running has not been tested for accuracy or timing since the clock is so old it will need to be serviced by a clock expert. Image is part of the description.
