Rare Kugel?

From my personal collection, an Early Glass Kugel Ornament in the shape of a Potato. Kugel is very unusual and possibly rare. I’m not an expert on Kugels, but I’ve collected early Christmas since College and for the past 20 years I have never seen another.

Small in size, but perfect for an early feather tree which this one was hung on.

Kugel has its Original metal cap and hook. It’s secure on the Kugel, but I was able to gently lift it slightly to look = and there is no damage, chips or breaks to the opening, and no damage to the rest of the Kugel. What you see are indentations in the glass just like a real potato.

Color of Kugel is just like a real, small potato = I would say a Violet, Lt. Purple, with a hint of Rose in the Color.

Although unmarked I’m leaning towards it being Made in Germany.

Measures approximately 1 1/2 -1 3/4inches across x 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 to the top of the hook.
