porcelain figure of a sitting, grumpy dog, known as an
English Bulldog
marked with the old factory \"sunburst stamp\"; a rising sun with rays above the letters G H, all in a circle, for

from Lichte, Thuringen, Germany
this mark was used between 1900 and 1925, we would say it is an early figurine, so probably near 1900, because of it\'s
wonderful and precise details, for example the detailed modelling of the eyes, teeth, wrinkles, toes and nails
and the magnificant colouring in ears, noose, mouth and between the toeslength: circa 18 cm / 7 inchcondition: very good
no chips, no damages, no restorations
on the 9th and 10th picture we point out a \"crack\", but that is an imperfection from the baking proces, before glazing, the \"crack\" does not go throughsee our sales and shop for more porcelain dogs and figurines
