Very Unique, Rare Antique Copper Pitcher/Kettle. Handmade and hammered, has forged dovetails behind handle. 14\" Inches tall, with brass handles. Handle is hand forged, and has small hinged arm on top attached to the lid. This pitcher/kettle has a rare design and shape. Shaped as a pitcher but has a bottom almost like an old stove kettle. Base measures 5 3/4\" across bottom. Outer rim right above base measures 7\" across. Spout has some damage at the tip and where it connects to pitcher has small crack at the top part of the connection, which looks like it has bin repaired. Kettle has ding and dents, and seems like the pin for the hinged lid was replaced. By the type, metal details, ware, and condition, I would estimate date between 1700-1800. No Maker ID marks found.
