Rare antique or vintage \"1/2 Dekaliter\" canister or crock with lid. From the research that I\'ve done, this appears to be a Dutch measurement system. Converted, a 1/2 dekaliter is equal to 5 liquid liters. There are some areas of wear, such as paint loss and one chip as shown in the pictures. Very unique piece! Please look closely at the pictures, as they show the condition better than can be described. Please note that the lid sits somewhat loosely. It measures 7 1/4\" in diameter by approx. 9 7/8\" high to the finial.
