Item Description:Rare antique Waltham Military wristwatch with excellent Depollier case. A previous owner made a tool to open and close this case - see last photo. I attempted to use it to open this watch but it seems to be closed very tightly, so I left it closed - the tool is included.

Case:The case has its original locking crown in good working order It appears that the black plating must of originally covered the entire case. The case is in good overall condition, with normalwear but no evidence of misuse.There aresomescratches / toolmarksin the caseback. The side of the case is marked, \"DEPOLLIER WATERPROOF TRADEMARK WATCH\".

This case has notbeen personalized, see photos.

Dimensions:The case measures 37.5mm wide notincluding the winding crown, and 44.4mm in total length.

Crystal:The glass crystal isinvery good used condition withminor surface scratches-see photos.

Dial:The original silver-tone metaldial is in verygood overall condition - see photos.

Movement: This watch has an American Waltham mechanical movement. I did not open the watch to photograph the movement. Authenticity is guaranteed.

Running Condition:This watchwinds and sets smoothly. Itruns and keeps time within 1-2 minutes / day.It has not been serviced recently and is sold, \"AS IS\".

There is a circular piece thin sheet metal that sits within an indentation in the caseback. It is that piece of sheet metal that has the 4 holes punched in it. The caseback itself is not damaged other than the tool scratches. The piece of sheet metal pops out the and the caseback underneath is entirely black - plated and in good condition.
