Absolutely beautiful antique Wedgwood Fairyland pearl lustreware Butterfly Bowl. It is decorated with free colorful butterfly images on mottled pearl beige (with some greenish splash) exterior, mottled orange with scattered brown spots interior is decoratedwith an impressive large gold butterfly at the bowl\'s bottom center, and very nice and sophisticated gilded borders to inner, outer, and bottom rims. Bowl is a truly amazing and delicate piece.
Bowl\'s pattern, z4832, was designed bySusannah Margaretta \"Daisy\" Makeig-Jones (1881-1945)in the beginning of the 20th century. Thismottledlustre design was produced on various shapes, in 1914-29 until4 of the original 10 lustres were discontinued in 1929.
