Stunning Art Nouveau silver plate small round trayby Axel Gabriel Dufva, Stockholm 1903. It presents a beautiful edge withembossed trefoils, eighteen in all, made with excellent Art Nouveau details. Theinside is a plain surface where, near the board, there is the mark, consisting ina 5 mm circle inscribed inside A.G.Dufva - Alpacca and with a dove in the middle(the English for Dufva is Dove). Below the mark there is the data letter X foryear 1903. Dufva dating system starts in 1882 with letters which run from A toZ (year 1905) and from A2 (1906) to X2 (1927).
The firm was founded in 1847 in Stockholm and isone of the oldest silver plate factories of continental Europe together with Hermann Krupp & Alexander von Schoeller in Berndorf (1843), CharlesChristofle in Paris (1844), Karl AugustWellner in Aue, Saxony (1854).
The tray is in very good condition, with no wear.There are minor scratches on the plain surface. It has a diameter of 21 cm.

Bellissimo Vassoietto Art Nouveau di Axel Gabriel Dufva realizzato inmetallo argentato nel 1903. Di forma rotonda, ha un bordo a sbalzo di circa 3cm decorato con 18 trifogli dai dettagli bellissimi.La superficie interna ha undiametro di 16 cm ed è liscia e presenta vicino al bordo il marchio delladitta. Il diametro complessivo del vassoietto è di 21 cm.
Il marchio consiste nell\'iscrizione \"A.G.DUFVA\" e \"ALPACCA\" realizzataall\'interno di un cerchio circa 5 mm di diametro, con al centro il profilo diuna colomba (dufva in svedese significa colomba). Sotto il marchio è presente un cartglio quadrato con lalettera X per l\'anno 1903.Si tratta di un belluissimo oggetto quasi unico, in puro stile ArtNouveau.
Le condizioni sono molto buone. Il bordo è perfetto. La superficieliscis presenta lievi graffiature. L\'argentatura è quella originale ed è inottimo stato.
Quella di Axel Gabriel Dufva è una delle più antiche manifatture dell\'Europacontinentale di oggetti in silver plate. E\' stata fondata a Stoccolma nel 1847,contemporaneamente ad altre famosefabbriche come quelle di Hermann Krupp & Alexander von Schoeller aBerndorf (1843), Charles Christofle aParigi (1844), Karl August Wellner ad Aue, in Sassonia (1854).
A partire dal 1882 e fino al 1927 la produzione di Axel Gabriel Dufva èdatata con un sistema che utilizza 24 lettere dell\'alfabeto latino, A-Z dal1888 al 1905 e A2- X2 dal 1906 al 1927
